Fundamentals of Anatomy, Physiology & Hygiene

  • Basic human body systems (respiratory, circulatory, digestive)
  • Personal hygiene, handwashing, sanitization protocols
  • Infection prevention (PPE, BMW segregation)
  • Daily practice: Hygiene demos + vital signs on mannequins/volunteers (BP, pulse, temp)

Patient Care Basics & First Aid

  • Bed making, patient positioning, bathing/assisting ADL
  • Wound dressing, bed sore prevention, oral care
  • First aid for burns, fractures, choking; CPR intro
  • Hands-on: 200+ care simulations + first aid drills on dummies

Vital Monitoring, Medication & Nutrition

  • Accurate vital recording (SpO2, respiration, pain scale)
  • Oral/IM medication admin, dosage calculation basics
  • Balanced diet planning, feeding techniques
  • 100% lab: 250+ vital checks + mock medication rounds on simulators

Ward Procedures & Emergency Response

  • Admission/discharge process, oxygen therapy, enema/catheter basics
  • Emergency triage, code blue response
  • Documentation (charts, intake-output)
  • Daily 6–8 hours: 300+ ward simulations + emergency role-plays

Community Health, Ethics & Special Care

  • Vaccination basics, maternal/child health, elderly care
  • Patient rights, confidentiality, grievance handling
  • Geriatric/paediatric adaptations
  • Practical: 150+ community scenarios + ethical case studies

Live Hospital Ward Internship (Full-Time Attachment) + Placement Preparation

  • This is the 6th and FINAL module – the ultimate employability booster
  • 100% Practical – 5 weeks full-time in general/OPD wards of tied-up hospitals (e.g., ESIC, district hospitals with 50+ beds)
  • Each student handles minimum 200–250 real patient cases: Vital monitoring, care delivery, medication assistance, emergency support under supervision
  • Works morning/evening shifts, manages ward flow, assists doctors/nurses
  • Learns handover protocols, night duties, team coordination Last 7–10 days:
  • Resume building for staff nurse roles • Mock interviews (NORCET/AIIMS style: patient scenarios, ethics questions)
