This short, hands-on training guarantees immediate placement, high demand, and job security in government and corporate healthcare facilities nationwide.

Total Modules: 6 (75–80% practical in every module)

Basics of Anatomy, Physiology & Patient Care in CT

  • Cross-sectional anatomy (head, neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities)
  • Vital signs, patient history, consent & screening (claustrophobia, implants)
  • Infection control, positioning for comfort/safety (pregnant, pediatric)
  • Daily practice: Anatomy identification on models + vital checks/positioning on volunteers

CT Physics, Radiation Safety & Protection

  • X-ray production, CT principles (attenuation, Hounsfield units, beam hardening)
  • ALARA, dose optimization, TLD badge use, shielding
  • Bio-effects, contrast reactions basics
  • Hands-on: 200+ radiation safety drills + dose calculations on phantoms

CT Scanner Operation & Components (GE & Siemens)

  • Machine parts (gantry, console, detectors), multi-slice vs. spiral modes
  • Control panel (kVp, mAs, slice thickness, reconstruction)
  • Calibration, startup/shutdown, basic troubleshooting
  • 100% lab: Each student operates scanner for 250+ simulations on phantoms

CT Scan Protocols & Image Acquisition

  • Routine protocols (head CT, C-spine, chest, abdomen, trauma series)
  • IV contrast admin, timing, venous access
  • 3D reconstruction, multi-planar reformats
  • Daily 6–8 hours: 300+ protocol executions + image capture on gel phantoms

Advanced Imaging, Quality Control & Artifacts

  • Special procedures (CT angiography, virtual colonoscopy basics)
  • Artifact identification/removal (motion, metal), reject analysis
  • PACS integration, report prep, CD burning
  • Practical: 150+ quality audits + artifact troubleshooting on sample datasets

Live Diagnostic Center/Hospital CT Internship (Full-Time Attachment) + Placement Preparation

  • This is the 6th and FINAL module – the ultimate job magnet
  • 100% Practical – 5 weeks full-time in CT suite of tied-up centers/hospitals (e.g., Metropolis, local 500+ bed facilities with 50+ daily scans)
  • Each student performs/assists minimum 250–300 real CT scans: Patient prep, protocol selection, scan execution, image processing under radiologist supervision
  • Handles live cases (head, abdomen, trauma, contrast studies), morning/evening shifts, emergency protocols
  • Learns workflow: Queue management, maintenance logs, team coordination Last 7–10 days:
  • Resume building for technician roles
  • Mock interviews (radiology panel style: protocol Q&A, safety scenarios
